The Troop operates from Scout dues, percentage of fund raisers, and individual donations.
The orginal Scout Hut had to be removed after seving many years as a Church, Youth building and Hut. The Troop and Church are collecting funds to replace the hut with a new steel structure which will be located next to the Church.
At the December, 2005 Court of Honor, Pastor George Watson said that there are enough funds and services offered, to prepare the site, pour the slab and build the steel shell starting in June.

UPDATE: as of 7/11/06
Karen Stancik, (Committee Chair) had a phone conference with Dick Anderson of WWBC building committee. The plans were approved by the Fire Marshall; the site will be surveyed and plotted this weekend. Mr. Anderson has requested an appointment with Harris County to submit the permit application. Once the permit is approved, the site will be prepared, forms built, and plumbing roughed in. Then the slab will be poured and Guthrie Buildings will erect the shell. At that point, funding will be exhausted and additional fundraising will be conducted.
However, we still need donations to complete the insides of the building.
The Troop/Crew trailer, which was stolen about a year ago, has been replaced due to many generous donations.

UPDATE 4/25/07:
The Scouting Logos were put on this week and the trailer made its first public showing at Scout Fair!
