Troop 1332
March 5-7th, 2010
Location: _________
PRELOAD: Thursday ______p.m. load troop and all personal gear.
Leave: Arrive at the hut by 5:30 pm on Friday the 2nd to load scouts. We will be leaving no later than 6 pm. Scouts need to eat supper before they arrive.
Format: We will leave Friday evening to drive to Cima. This is a four hour drive so everyone needs to be on time so we do not get in to late and have already loaded their personal gear. We will be "toobing" in San Marcos and checking out the scout ranch as time permits.
Food: PATROL COOK…All food is to be provided by patrols. Each patrol is reminded to bring three (3) items for Troop Cracker-barrel Saturday night.
Fees: The cost is $ 15 per scout to the Troop. (This is $5 for camping & 10 for tubes.)
This is a four hour drive. Scouts may want to bring extra money for the stops at Buc-ee's on the way up on Friday night and lunch on the way back on Sunday.
Patrols will set their own fee amount to cover food expenses.
Equip: Bathing suit/towel, Standard personal and patrol camping equipment is needed. This includes eating utensils, flashlights, rain gear and Scout Handbook. Remember, it may be cold at night so a light jacket would be a good idea.
Return: We should be leaving camp around 9 or 10 a.m. Sunday and returning to the hut between approximately 1 -2 p.m. The Scouts will call when we are 30 mins. out from the Church on Sunday. As always, our arrival time depends on the Scouts themselves and how fast they get packed up and loaded.
