Tom proudly displayed the hotrod in this year's 50th anniversary of Autorama!

The original bright red paint job made the Hot Rod an area landmark - it was often parked just inside the gate of the shop and got a lot of attention!

Phase Two of the paint evolution was two-toned after the fenders and doors were taken off and reworked. Pictured here with Tom are his bird, Bubba and faithful four-legged friend Chief.

These 6" x 20" x 3/4" thick 6061 T6 Aluminum Valve Covers were machined by using a ball nose end mill to make the grooves. Special brackets were machined to mount the valve cover to the coil pack bracket. Sheet metal was then wrapped around to cover the sides to create the look of a valve cover on a LS-1 motor.

Sonny Keeton did the custom art work for the tribute to Tom Jones which appears on both back panels.
