A Tribute to Organ Donation
Artist Richard Fielding came to American Heli-Arc for assistance with the design and fabrication of this magnificent sculpture for Hermann Memorial Hospital. The Life Gift Sculpture is a tribute to organ donors and to the individuals who receive these wonderful gifts.
Dragonfly Bench This 2-person bench was created for dragonfly-lover Dr. Melanie McKinnon. The unique coloration is a result of red and yellow toner added to the clear coat and applied to the stainless steel.
Flaming Texas
American Heli-Arc created many Texas Plaques for customer appreciation, event awards, etc. After cutting out a number of the Texas shapes Chris noticed the interesting Texas shaped hole left and came up with the idea to use the leftovers by adding flames. This version actually became even more popular than the original plaques!
Moon Inspiration
Inspired by a piece of jewelery his wife, Nora, had Tom Young created this wall art.
A Texas Tribute
The variegated gold leaf Texas star is accented by red metal flake paint on the round border - a mirror is mounted behind the piece which hangs in Tom's office. This is a great example of Wayne Miller's talent as a painter and pinstriper - the gold leaf is a very difficult process to do and few people even attempt it any more. Wayne has become very proficient at the gold leaf application and it is just one of the many unique treatments Wayne can offer.
Fish Art
Special grinding techniques gave this fish sculpture a 3-D look and feel. The coloration was created with custom metal flake toner in the clear coat. This piece of metal marine art is happily living on the wall of a seafood eatery.
One-Of-A-Kind Trophy
If you need a truly unusual trophy or award American Heli-Arc can assist with the design and fabrication - here's a great example!
Big Art Project
This George Sugarman Sculpture was brought to American Heli-Arc to be reassembled and welded after being transported from St. Paul. Tom, Chris and the crew spent many hours on this project for Grubb and Ellis which is 25 feet tall and about 2 tons of aluminum.
